Replacing the Transport Mechanism in Meto Price Gun

Replacing the Transport Mechanism in Meto Price Gun

Written Instructions:

Step 1: Tear the backing paper where the red arrow is pointing & then remove the tail.

Step 2:  The part with the two prongs that moves up and down when you click the trigger, you’ll need to half-press the trigger so that the two-prong mechanism moves into its halfway position.  Be careful (as you don’t want to jam your fingers if you fully press the trigger) and put your free index finger between the two prongs and behind the part (similar to a pinch)

Step 3:  Pull the two-prong part towards you, and it will come out

You will now have the two-prong part in your hand.

Step 4: To replace with a new part, have a look at the two plastic grommets facing outwards on the bottom of the part. The two grommets need to be put back into the slides inside the gun to the correct position.  The circled grommets need to slide down the spot where the black arrow is pointing.

Step 5: The transport needs to go into the two slots inside the side of the gun and the two nipples on top of the spare part need to click into the part (slot) inside the gun that moves up and down

Step 6: Half-press the trigger, slide in the two grommets that go down the side slides.  Then click the two nipples on the side of the part into the grooves where the yellow arrows are pointing.

Step 7: Now reload labels as per normal. The labels may need to be adjusted to the correct position (see the instructions to “Adjust print position on METO gun”).
