To replace the label roll in the METO 718, 722, 1026, 822, 1522, 1932 & 2026 pricing gun:
Step 1: Get a new roll of labels and remove the first layer that goes around the roll, and discard these labels.
Step 2: Tear the backing paper off square with the label, but don’t remove the labels from the backing paper.
Step 3: To help guide the roll of labels through the gun, it helps to make a slight fold lengthways at the very beginning of the roll. This will make it easier for the labels to thread through the gun to come out the other side.
Step 4: Open the base with the two side slides.
Step 5: Thread the new roll with the label facing up and feed it through that big opening within the gun.
Step 6: Fit the roll of labels into the roll holder. If you find it hard to place the new roll into its position, you will need to slightly prise apart the ends. (Ensure the roll spins freely after fitting.)
Step 7: Pull out approximately 20 cm of the label roll and feed the end between the application roller and the top of the base plate.
Step 8. Close the base plate.
Step 9: Leave the labels on the backing paper and feed the end of the labels through the entrance of the transport mechanism (Yellow arrow in picture below) and feed the labels in by hand until they appear at the bottom of the unit (Black arrow in picture below).
Step 10: Squeeze the trigger repeatedly to tighten and feed the labels.
