Fix Misfeeding Labels in METO Gun

To fix labels that are misfeeding in your METO 718, 722, 1026, 822, 1522, 1932 & 2026 guns, three parts in the gun need to be checked.

Please note: This procedure only needs to be done if the labels are inconsistently presenting the label in different positions. If the label is consistently presenting to the same position, you will need to follow the help guide “Adjust print position on METO gun”

Written Instructions:

Step 1:  Remove the labels from the gun.

Step 2:  Open the Transport Mechanism (the part with the two prongs on it). You open the Transport Mechanism by pushing down and out on the thumb-shaped black plastic, as per the picture below.

Step 3: The sandpaper will now be exposed

Step 4: If there are any white spots or some glue on the sandpaper, you can clean it with some tweezers or another sharp tool and carefully scrape the high spots off the sandpaper.  Try not to damage the sandpaper.

Step 5:  Also check the sandpaper on the baseplate (the part that opens when you change a roll). If this has white spots or glue, you can do the same procedure of cleaning.
