Adjust Print and Label Position on METO Pricing Gun

METO guns sometimes require minor adjustments of the label's position.

The print position may shift upwards or downwards (as shown below), or the label may present in the wrong position (this may make it hard to apply the label, or it may make the label fly off the end).

Written Instructions

To correct this, remove the label so the screw is exposed

  • To move the print upwards, you will need to turn the screw anti-clockwise 360 degrees.
  • To move the print downwards, then turn the screw clockwise 360 degrees.

Please note that the screw can be turned while the gun is loaded with labels by pushing the flat blade screwdriver through the backing paper, but you will need to know where the screw is located.

You may need to repeat this process a few times to get the desired print & label position.

The pictures below are a guide to show what position to hold the gun and where the label should be sitting BEFORE the label is dispensed. There should be approximately 1mm gap between the label and the dispensing edge
